“Who Writes Your Stuff?”

In some ways, writing is like golf. A lot of people think they can do it as well as the professionals...until they try. Then they realize how hard it is and how easy the pros make it look. Fortunately for my career, I write much better than I swing a golf club.
Has anyone asked you, "Who writes your stuff?" Do you get compliments on the content of your brochure, newsletter or website?
If your writing doesn’t impress your clients or business associates, chances are it doesn’t exactly electrify your wealth management prospects either.
Clear, well-written communications are the hallmark of a progressive organization. A competent wordsmith is an invaluable asset; a business partner who works behind the scenes to position your financial practice professionally, regardless of its size or resources.
Everything that goes out with your name on it reflects your professional standards. Everything with your name on it should be, if you will excuse the pun, on the money.
Style and syntax should be first rate, consistent, easily understood and reflect your organizational values.
